We are seeking enthusiastic Retail Flavor Experts to work at our Gatlinburg location. As a member of our team, you will be immersed in a fun, creative, and supportive environment that is all about food.

Responsibilities of a Retail Flavor Expert include providing stellar customer service to guests, maintaining inventory levels and pricing products, blending and packaging items, and staying up-to-date on product knowledge. You will also have the opportunity to utilize your math skills by measuring ingredients and following recipes.

Job Includes
Operating a cash register, greeting guests and helping them find what they're looking for, packaging spices, seasonings and loose-leaf teas, restocking shelves, keeping the shop tidy, open/close the shop, being a keyholder.

From the hiring manager
We are looking for someone who would primarily be a closer, possibly 4-5 nights per week maybe Wednesday-Sunday. We're flexible. Closing time is either 9 or 10PM and you're usually out a half hour later, its not like closing a restaurant. Currently you're looking at around 36 hours per week. We typically do five, seven hour shifts or four nine hour shifts. You might be by yourself for the last hour or two of your shift.

We like positive vibes and no drama, its a tea shop. Please have reliable transportation. Our employees usually say this is one of the most enjoyable and easiest jobs they've had which is why most have been with us for years. 

We are currently working on installing a "Tea Bar" like our sister store in Pigeon Forge. So any barista experience is also great. We just enacted 1% commission monthly bonus, which can add $1-3/per hour based on sales. And we get few tips even in lieu of a Tea Bar.
